Tree Climbing with Adventure Terra

Tree climbing with Adventure Terra has to be one of the most unusual shooting conditions I have photographed. I had a lot of fun photographing this group of friends ascending their first 175 to 200 foot trees on Bainbridge Island. We reached the top just as the sun was setting. Washington State currently has many large forest fires, adding a pinkish orange glow to everything, especially around sunset.

When I reached the tippy top of my first tree, I thought it almost felt like I was flying, as a breeze gentle stirred the tree. This is such a unique northwest experience! I believe the guides at Adventure Terra will be taking groups up until the weather turns really wet, sometime around November.
