One thing I have learned quickly while photographing toddlers, there are few posing opportunities. Photographing a toddler is a waiting game. I spend quite a bit of time watching and waiting for that natural giggly laugh. Honestly, I love the challenge, and little boys tend to give me more of a challenge. I had a lot of fun photographing these two little guys!

I love how these two brothers look at each other. It is so endearing!

I find with this age group, getting a family group photo happens only at a few key times during the session. The first is when the family arrives. Babies and toddlers are fresh and willing to stay still for a few moments. And then they are off exploring and being kids! I'll try to squeeze one more family photo towards the middle of the session, but even with the break, staying still and focused on me is really hard at this age.
